When combined with a computer/laptop, a set of studio monitors and the relevant instruments for recording, this bundle is perfect for musicians across all skill levels recording at home or on the road. Thomann did a great job delivering the package to my apartment on time. All of these components produce pristine quality, which in my opinion for the cost makes this package very competitive. The condenser microphone is of a perfect weight and size for a home studio setup, and the headphones are quite comfortable to wear.

When i switched them, the mic that has previously not worked, now works fine and the one that worked before does not work anymore. I tested this issue by switching the cables/mics from position 1 and 2.

The audio interface is compact and well designed with several nice features, such as the glowing halo rings around the input gain knobs. The mic is 2 does not work, meaning there is no sound, but I do see the lights on the Scarlett light to indicate its working. All of the components included are of a high calibre when comparing to other recording equipment I have bought separately in the past. I can use other microphones (like my logitech webcam or headset) just fine, but if I try and use the one plugged into my audio interface then no dice. As the title indicates, I cannot get steam voice chat to work with the 2i2 mic line-in. The solution to my problem is an external power supply for the mic, which can be something like this. That's why it works with smartphones, laptops, and most cameras, and do not work with Scarlett 2i2 pre-amp which has only 48V phantom powering. This package has been perfect for all of my needs in recording vocals, guitars and keyboards. Steam voice chat not working with Focusrite 2i2 audio interface mic line. RODE SmartLav+ is a plug-in powered microphone, thus it needs around 5V powering. I bought the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 Studio 3rd Gen package last year after wanting to return to music production at home for some time.
